Diversity Scholarships

Gaining a top leadership position or enhancing your expertise in specific professional fields requires an investment of both time and money in your education.
At WHU Executive Education, our mission is to offer high-quality programs that foster workplace diversity worldwide. We are dedicated to empowering ambitious individuals to become the leaders of tomorrow, with a particular focus on advancing women in leadership positions, emerging market leaders, and LGBTQ+ executives.
Scholarship Opportunities
We currently offer two types of partial scholarships for select programs, each providing a 25% or 50% discount on the regular program fee. These scholarships are available exclusively to self-payers.
Programs and Discounts:
- Management Essentials Program: 25% discount on the regular program fee, awarded quarterly. Application deadline: June 30, 2026
- Management Acceleration Program: 25% discount on the regular program fee, awarded quarterly. Application deadline: June 30, 2026
- Advanced Management for Senior Leaders Program: 50% discount on the regular program fee, one scholarship per program run. Application deadline: June 29, 2026
Important Details:
- Only the programs listed above are eligible for scholarships.
- You can reapply for a scholarship 36 months after participating in a program.
- After the application deadline, our Admissions Committee will take 4 weeks to review all applicants and notify you if you have been awarded a Diversity Scholarship.
- Scholarships cover the program fee only. Participants must cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
How to apply?
We look forward to welcoming ambitious and visionary individuals from diverse backgrounds to our Executive Education programs! To apply, follow these three simple steps:
- Select one of the Executive Education Open Programs.
- Send an email with your CV and cover letter in English to openprograms@whu.edu. There are no formal requirements regarding the level of work experience, and we evaluate each application on an individual basis. Applications for the 50% scholarships must also include a letter of recommendation from your supervisor.
- After review by our Admissions Committee, you will be notified if you are eligible for a scholarship.
For more women in leadership
In cooperation with the 30% Club, we are delighted to offer one 50% scholarship per year for each of the following programs:
- Management Essentials Program
- Management Acceleration Program
- Advanced Management for Senior Leaders Program
The data is clear: gender balance on boards and in senior management not only promotes better leadership and governance, but also contributes to better overall board performance - and ultimately to better business performance for companies and their shareholders.
The cooperation between WHU and the 30% Club supports determined female managers and executives to achieve a better gender balance in organizations at all levels.
To apply for this scholarship, please send an email with your CV, a letter of motivation and a letter of recommendation (all in English) to openprograms@whu.edu. The application deadline for these scholarships is March 31 each year. Applications received will be reviewed and you will be contacted no later than 4 weeks after the deadline.
